Isabella Roberts 1848 by Red Barn Samplers

This sampler seems to harken from Scotland, since the boy on the left is wearing a kilt and marching sporran. The dog looks like he is ready to shake hands with the girl! Including the dogs would suggest they are much loved guardians to this pair.
